The Wiki Pages screen, bulk migration |
The
Wiki Pages screen allows to perform the following tasks:
- manage an existing page
- set permissions for an existing page
- migrate a bulk of page to another namespace.
Managing a Page
For an existing page it's possible to:
- approve/reject a draft (if available)
- rename it (with or without keeping a shadow page with the old name, redirecting to the new one)
- migrate it to another namespace (with or without copying categories)
- roll it back to a previous revision (a rollback actually creates a new page revision, so that no content is ever deleted)
- delete its backups (all of them or a sub-set)
- clear its discussion
- delete it.
Permissions
When editing page
permissions, always keep in mind that pages inherit permissions from their namespace.
You can apply a set of permissions to any number of subjects (either users or groups): the yellow frame lists the subject for which there are permissions set. You can also search for other subjects (use the
Search button), add them to the list and set their permissions.
Note: you must click the
Save Permissions button to save the changes.
Permissions Templates
The
Permissions Templates link shows a list of pre-configured permissions templates that you can apply to a page.
Bulk Migration
You can migrate a bulk of pages to another namespace. Keep in mind that the target namespace must be managed by the same provider as the source one.
