ScrewTurn Wiki 3.0.
Page Editing

|
 The editor |
|
Page History and Rollback function |
|
 Draft Approval/Reject |
|
| Wiki pages are focused on content. A sidebar contains links to the most common functions of the wiki. |
The editor allows to easily edit text either using WikiMarkup or a visual mode and you can switch between them at any moment. Pages can be categorized and it is also possible to upload attachments. |
Every time a page is edited, the previous content is backed up so you can easily rollback to a previous version and compare any two revisions of a page. Knowing who did what is extremely easy. |
You can enable a moderation mode, allowing users who cannot normally edit pages to submit drafts for approval or reject. |
Discussion
 Page discussion |
|
 Admin: Message deletion |
|
| Talking about and commenting a page is possible using the dedicated discussion. Messages are threaded for improved clarity. |
Administrators can delete unwanted or inappropriate comments. |

 Permissions Management |
|
| Uploading files and managing directories is extremely easy. Administrators can configure the file types that are allowed for upload. |
You can resize and rotate images using the integrated image editor, so that it's easier to insert pictures in your pages. |
Permissions can be set for every directory in the file manager. |
Search Engine
 Search results page |
|
 Search terms highlighting |
|
| Searching is easy and fast. Results are returned from page content, discussions, files and attachments. You can filter the result by category and namespace. |
Opening a search result highlights the search terms making it easy to spot the information you're looking for. |
Personalized Email Notifications and RSS Feeds¶
 Page changes email notification |
|
 Discussion changes email notification |
|
 Global email notifications |
|
 RSS feeds |
|
| Receiving an email notification every time a page is modified is as easy as a single mouse click. |
Page discussions offer the same feature and each user has her own configuration. |
You can configure the wiki to notify you every time a page in a namespace is edited or every time a new message is posted. |
You can also subscribe to global or page-specific RSS feeds for page or discussion changes, or both. |
Namespaces and Themes¶
 Managing multiple namespaces |
|
Different themes for each namespace |
|
| You can create multiple, independent namespaces to better organize and separate content. Each namespace has its own permissions. |
Each namespace can have its own visual theme. ScrewTurn Wiki theming is entirely done in CSS (this same website is powered by ScrewTurn Wiki with a custom theme). |
Plugins and Administration Panel¶
 Plugins management |
|
 Administration panel |
|
| ScrewTurn Wiki supports plugins that extend the features of the application. It is also possible to install providers for different data storage systems (e.g. databases). Some plugins even support automatic updates. |
The administration panel allows to configure every single detail of your wiki. The interface is split in different panels for a better usability and ease of use. |
